Thank You For Coming
Group Study began as a blog for sharing photography, but evolved into the real world when we started meeting as a crit group in 2015. We’d meet for bi-monthly conversations in a living room in Oakland, CA, and a community blossomed. When a year later, the resident of the apartment in which we would gather prepared to move, we devised a going away party.
Thank You For Coming was a celebration and send off to the living room which we'd used to converse, collaborate, and grow as photographers. The one-night, pop-up exhibition happened on Saturday, February 27th, 2016.
The show was collectively photographed, curated, and installed by Group Study. Contributing artists included:
